Our nine month old is a belly crawler. She can crawl on her knees, but really prefers and is much faster with the army crawl. This is not ideal when you have wood floors and two dogs. She is our mobile little dusting mop! Keeping her shirts clean is not an easy thing. What if we could clean the floors as she was traveling around?
Our daughters have the slippers that have the dusting mops on the bottom of them. These gave us the idea to make a onesie with the same material for our little one.
We found a dusting glove at the dollar store. I used a baby shirt because I had one on hand, but you could also use a onesie.
Cut out the dusting portion of the glove, along with a 1/2-3/4 inch of the flat part of the glove around the edge.
This extra edge will be what you use to sew it onto the onesie.
Center the dusting pad on to the onesie. Using your sewing machine or a thread and needle, sew around the edge of the dusting pad to secure it in place. The little fingers help hide the stitching, so don't worry if it's not perfect. Set your little mop down to get to work!
